What is the Event About: The event is part of the MATES Community Empowerment Programme - The MATES Organisation is dedicated to empowering our community through creating positive male role models for our women and children by reaching out to, supporting and encouraging all men and women to find direction and purpose in their lives.
The event itself is to encourage men to create and develop great relationships with the young people in their lives and to showcase men as great fathers, teachers, partners and role-models in the Hamilton Community and to of course raise awareness of our programmes, relationship consulting and crisis services for men and women.
About the Event: KING OF THE CASTLE - An event held in Garden Place Hamilton 29th April which will give an opportunity for 50 Men and their children to win prizes and get a professional photo taken of them building a Castle together
Stalls will be set up containing tools to build and sand...prizes will be given for tallest and most creative castle built in a specific time-frame..
We will have local identities present, music, food and fun activities for children and their parents… and much more...

Photos included in entry will be for Social Media and Print (6 x 4) and Participants (that provide an email address) will receive a professional photo of themselves and children and their castle suitable for social media. The photos will also be uploaded to an event site to enable them to purchase a print (up to 8 x 12). The company doing the printing are a local Hamilton company so delivery should be quick.
